Australians for Better Government Newsletter 04

Things are moving nicely for Australians for Better Government, despite a lot happening behind the scenes.

We have established a great Committee, with people who have reputations for action and not talk - if only our Government were like that!

If you would like to learn more about our Committee, visit: www.australiansforbetter.com/about

The months ahead are going to be busy and exciting. With the Federal election taking place in May, ABG will be involved where we can. We have a lot of ideas on election reform and improving the quality of the vote and we will be looking to express these proposals in as many ways as possible.

If you know of any candidate forums or events coming up where a representative of ABG can speak, please reach out to us. Likewise, if you know of any podcasts, community radio or other media you would like to see us on, please let these outlets know about us!

The more we can spread the proposals of ABG, the better. ABG is a grassroots movement, so we rely on our Members to spread the word!

Of course, we will not stop after the election, as our ABG Gala Fundraiser will be held on Sunday, May 25 at the Warrawee Club. We have a lot planned for a great day of fun, networking and hearing from our great speakers. It is with pleasure that I can announce that the Hon. John Ruddick MLC of the NSW Legislative Council will be one of our speakers. More will be announced soon!

As time goes on, we are building momentum. So if you haven’t already, head to our website and join us. The more Australians we have on board, the stronger we will be.

Many thanks,

Steven Tripp

ABG President
